Generate a Union Bank of India ATM Pin Through IVR Mobile

Please make sure you’re contacting banks toll-free numbers from the mobile number associated with your Bank account, and that your ATM card is current.

To begin, obtain the bank’s registered phone number and contact the customer service number.

Follow the instructions regarding the new menu selections.

Choose Union Bank as the bank name (Option 3). (Because Andhra Bank and Corporation Bank have now merged into Union Bank, you must choose the bank from this option.)

Following that, choose language you wish to hear. For this guide, we’ll go for English (choice 3).

Next, listen to the main menu and choose the Self PIN generating is the 3rd choice.

From the following menu, select the Duplicate PIN generating option. (2nd choice).

Now, input your Union Bank Account’s 15-digit account number and press 1 to proceed.

If you accidentally enter the incorrect account number, press 2 to re-type it.

After the account number has been authenticated, there is a 2 step process. The first step is to generate a Passcode, followed by the generation of a new PIN.

Let’s go over the steps for Step 1 – Generate Passcode

The account holder’s date of birth will be requested by IVRS. Fill in the DDMMYYYY. F or example, if your birthday is June 25, 2001 enter 25062001

Then enter the 16 digit PIN from your ATM card.

Enter the expiry date in the MMYY format. For example, if the expiration date is March 13, 2026 – Enter 0326.

If the information submitted is validated, the system moves on to the next level.

An SMS containing an 8-digit passcode is sent to the registered phone number of the customer. Keep in mind (This Passcode is valid for 2 hours only).

An SMS might take up to 5 minutes to arrive.

Dial the toll-free line again, this time selecting “option 3” for self-pin generation, followed by “option 2” for duplicate debit card PIN generation.

Select option number 2 is to confirm the passcode and generate a duplicate ATM pin.

Please enter the last 16 digits of your debit card number.

Next, enter your 8 digit passcode.

Kindly input your debit card’s 3 digit CVV number.

Please enter your ATM pin, which is four digits long. (as desired by you)

For confirmation, please enter your new 4 digit pin again.

Your new ATM pin has been successfully established.

Steps to generate UBI Debit card PIN using Net Banking

Step 1: Go to the Union Bank of India website. Once you are on-site, click on “Personal Banking” – Guide to Register with & without UBI Net Banking.

Step 2: Enter User ID & Password, click Login.

Step 3: From the Dashboard’s main menu, pick the Request option.

Step 4: From the options, select the Debit or ATM Card option.

Step 5: Click Reset Debit or ATM Card PIN.

Step 6: From the drop-down box, choose your card number, expiration date, and new PIN, then click submit.

Step 7: After entering the Transaction Password and OTP.

Step 8: Then hit submit and wait for a response from the bank. You should receive a successful notice that should now appear on the screen.

Steps to generate UBI Debit card PIN using Mobile App

The Union Bank of India mobile app is available for both Android and iOS devices and allows you to perform a range of transactions, including generating a new ATM PIN. To generate your Union Bank of India ATM Pin through the mobile app, follow these steps:

Step 1: Launch the Union Bank of India (UBI) Mobile Banking app and input your MPIN.


Step 2: Scroll to the bottom to find the Cards Services section.

Step 3: Go to the Debit Card Services section.

Step 4: Select your account and credit card information.

Step 5: Select whether you want to generate a new PIN or update your existing PIN.

Step 6: Enter the OTP received to your registered mobile phone number and click Verify.

Step 7: Type in the new PIN number twice, then click the Submit button.

Step 8: Type in the MPIN and press the Submit button.

Steps to generate Debit card PIN using ATM Machine

Step 1: To set your ATM PIN, go to your bank’s ATM.

Step 2: Insert your ATM card and choose “SET ATM GREEN PIN” from the language selection screen.

Step 3: After that, pick the “GENERATE OTP” option to obtain an OTP on your registered phone number.

Step 4: Insert your card and choose “SET ATM GREEN PIN” again, then “VALIDATE OTP” from the option.

Step 5: Enter the OTP that was delivered to your registered mobile phone number.

Step 6: Enter NEW PIN twice.
